The Centenary of Cornish Composer George Lloyd falls on Friday 28th June. On this day there will be a special Centenary Brass Concert in his home town of St Ives and there will be other Cornish events during the year.

On BBC Radio Cornwall /Devon, Sounds of Brass on Sunday June 23rd & 30th will feature his music and extracts from a conversation Phillip Hunt had with him in 1993.
BBC Radio 3. Music Matters at 12-15pm on Saturday 22nd June is coming from Cornwall and features an item on George Lloyd, he will also be Composer of the Week from Monday 24th at 12 noon each day.
